This is an item transferred from our “Friends of Biblebase” group page. It was some thoughts stimulated by an article in http://www.pathos.com with the same title. I decided it would be easier to follow the discussion if we moved it here to our Discussion Forum.

FoBB is good as a seed plot but there will be times when a topic really needs to be transplanted to give it room to flourish. If you would like to see the original please visit Friends of Biblebase on facebook groups.

The FoBB thread will be closed on Monday.  Just time to catch up before we move the seedlings here.

I know that people sometimes refer to themselves as “sinners” simply on the basis of the fact that we occasionally commit sins and we don’t want to give the impression that we are perfect and sinless. However, what are we from God’s perspective? Are we sinner’s from His point of view?

Only if it’s possible to be “in Adam” and “in Christ” at the same time. Only if it’s possible to be bound by the law of sin and death and be liberated by the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus at the same time. Only if it’s possible to be of the old creation and the new creation at the same time.
