SCOTLAND focus event 2015

Scotland – 18-20th Sept 2015 – Book Now!

New Covenant Priesthood: His and Ours.

lensThe second ‘biblebase focus event’ is scheduled for 18-20th September. In line with our pattern for these ‘focus events’ we will be spending time together as we look into the question of ‘priesthood’ through the lens of the New Covenant.

  • How is Christ’s priesthood different to that of Aaron’s?
  • What is the nature of Christ’s priesthood? When did he become a ‘high-priest’?
  • Do you believe in the ‘priesthood of all believers’?
  • How are priests ‘ordained’ into ‘priesthood’ in the Old Covenant and the New Covenant?
  • Is there a difference between ‘baptism in Spirit’ and ‘Spirit anointing’?
  • What relevance does priesthood have to our evangelistic commission?

The Speakers

We trust to have Ron Bailey and Robert Wurtz II to lead us in our ‘focus’.

RB headshot Apr 2011robertRobert is part of the Delaware Christian Fellowship in Independence, Missouri that meets in Robert’s home. He  has authored several books, blogs and is a regular contributor to “Friends of Biblebase” and many other online forums. I heartily recommend his ministry and look forward to sharing together at this ‘focus’.

This ministry will not be exclusive and others may be available to join in the ‘focus’ too. More details when we have them.

The Venue

We are heading for sunny tcScotland and are booked into Tulliallen Castle. Accommodation will be residential for those wanting to take advantage of that. We really need to have a good idea of how many beds, breakfasts, lunches and evening meals we need to provide so please let us know asap when you plan to be with us. (please revisit this page as more details emerge.)

Accommodation will be in bedrooms with two single beds that can be joined together as doubles for married couples. If you want a single room that can be arranged too. All rooms have en-suite facilities. To begin with just tell us how many rooms you want and how long you are planning to be with us so that we can organise the catering.

Day visitors or those just able to join us for a single session or so will all be welcome but do let us know if you are coming and when. See Book Now… please! at the bottom of this page.

The Cost and Bookings

cashThere will be no formal charge for the sessions, accommodation or food but we will give opportunity for folks to make a contribution to the costs of the the weekend. We estimate that the cost per person, fully residential, Friday evening to Sunday lunch will be somewhere in the region of £120+. We don’t want anyone to miss the time together on account of lack of money so please plan to come and give what you are able.

Do be sure to visit “Friends of Biblebase” on Facebook and/or if you have received an ‘invitation’ please do reply. We really need to have a good idea of the numbers as soon as possible. And please do ‘share’ this in tweets, Facebook updates and any other means you have of spreading the word.

Who is it for?

firedoveAnyone who has an interest in the ‘Better Covenant’ and has a desire to know it and live it and pass it on. Take a look at biblebase vision and mission statements to get the flavour. I will try to update information here and on the Facebook “Friends of Biblebase” group pages. Please do check out these places.

  1. Many thanks Ron and Margaret for a wonderful conference. The teaching was excellent and the fellowship and worship unforgettable; and also many thanks to Ian and Wendy for their love and hospitality and Robert and yourself for the teaching. The venue was first class and provided everthing we needed. God bless. Jeff Bate.
